Description:
Excellent lightweight E.J. Churchill Crown Grade 12ga Game gun built with 25" barrels that have Churchill style top rib. Splinter forend with Anson type push button release. Case hardened frame is nicely engraved in scroll and has silver inlaid Crown and "XXV" on bottom of frame. Straight grip walnut buttstock is nicely figured and checkered and terminates with a thin wood extension and checkered butt. Housed in its original Brady canvas case with makers label.
Gun remains in very good to excellent overall condition. Barrels with most of the maker's original blue from the period remaining. Frame with some case color remaining and engraving remains crisp. Buttstock is excellent and sound. Case is very good as well.
This gun is value priced at $2695 plus shipping to your FFL. With pheasant season around the corner, why buy a machine made gun when you have have a bench made pre-war gun! This gun is dynamic and lightweight.
