Description:
From an estate in Western Nevada, in uncleaned found condition, as shown. Made 1874. No finish, some light exterior roughness, as shown. All matching clear, distinct numbers. Excellent sharp italic barrel address, better than I can show. Very clean and smooth inside frame. Muzzle flattened a bit, as shown. Functional action, safety notch is weak, loading notch holds, full cock times the cylinder properly, and the cylinder locks up with just a little movement. Very good bright bore, sharp, clear rifling, with some black powder wear. Later 1909 era hammer, with case color. Early first model ejector housing (only used first 2 years}, ejector rod head looks like it has been thinned. Layaway OK. Trades for antiques or C&Rs considered.
