This is the nicest wooded and best condition of the 78 S Series Magnums made that I have ever seen. Both sides of the butt display a stunning burl pattern and the entire gun is in nearly, but not quite 100% original condition with its matching box. The S Series offering was made by Kimber as a test of the high-end rifle market. They were a huge success with thier continental style cheekpiece and their unique checkering pattern.
