Colt Gold Cup Match "DEA", .45 cal. auto pistol. As new in wood presentation box. From the Colt Custom Shop: Gold Cup National Match Special Edition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Drug Enforcement Administration 1930-1980. 5" NM marked barrel. Factory blue finish. Gold inlaid scroll work on the left slide with "DEA". 910 of these units were produced and this is gun #65 and so indicated on the left side of the frame. Right side of slide is gold inlaid with "1930 D.E.A. Special Edition 1980". Adjustable target sights at rear and target blade sight at front. Adjustable crisp trigger. Gold "Colt Custom" monogrammed smooth rosewood grips. One magazine. Comes with a brass DEA belt buckle as shown. Nicely presented in a hardwood box with red crushed velvet interior - brass DEA plaque with the dates and DEA logo on outer top lid.
