Description:
Blaser .270 Win. Short Magnum R93 Luxus with Game Scene Engraving.
Blaser’s R-93 straight-pull bolt action (RH) with its unique cocking-slide safety, and sear trigger. The boltt head has a gold Titanium Nitride finish and the bolt knob is made of Walnut from a gunstock blank.
The black anodized action has Luxus Game Scene Engraved Panels on each side of the receiver (No. BC-07449) featuring Mouflon rams on the right Side and a bull elk bugling to a cow elk on the left side.
The rifle is fitted with a 25 ½” (65 cm) standard barrel chambered in .270 Winchester Short Magnum (.270 WSM) and has an “AE” date code (2004) on the barrel (No. 9/113324).
Receiver is fitted with a “Magnum” (MA) bolt head and corresponding magazine insert that works for most of the traditional Win, Rem, and Wby magnum cartridges as well as the Winchester Short Magnum cartridges.
Additionally, the rifle includes a second standard barrel that is 25 ½” (65 cm) and chambered for .338 Win Mag. which works with the same bolt head (MA) and magazine insert as the .270 WSM. The barrel also has an “AE” (2004) date code on the barrel (No. 9/115542).
Grade 4 walnut stock with double palm swell pistol grip, custom engraved silver grip cap depicting a standing grizzly bear, checkered grip and forend, and Schnabel shaped Ebony forend tip.
Rifle has a 14 1/2” LOP over the factory rubber recoil pad. The receiver and stock alone weigh 4 lbs. 2.7 oz. and with the .270 WSM barrel (3 lbs. 0.6 oz.) 7 lbs. 3.3 oz. and 7 lbs. 0.3 oz. with the .338 Win. Mag. barrels (2 lbs. 13.5 oz.)
The rifle remains in excellent overall condition and is a two sided aluminum Blaser case that will accommodate up to three scoped barrels and one stock/receiver.
A perfect combination for the North American Hunter with one rifle to cover everything from antelope, deer, and elk to moose and grizzly.
