Description:
Serial #D81888, .36 caliber black powder percussion, 7.5 inch octagon barrel with an excellent bore. This is the Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver manufactured by Armi San Marco in Italy. The cap and ball revolver is faithfully reproduced and in very fine condition. The barrel and cylinder retain about 65-70% of the original blue finish with the majority of the loss on the left barrel flat which is in the white. The frame, loading lever and hammer show much of the original case-hardened colors with the grip frame and trigger guard a pleasant yellow brass. The grips are solid showing some minor use marks and contusions. TI comes in a custom Mahogany display case with a reproduction powder flask. A very built and lightly used 1851 Navy. Antique.
