Description:
This left hand Cooper Montana Varminter is my personal rifle and the rifle used in all of our ads for the bench company. This rifle was built in 2007 before Dan Cooper left Cooper Arms. I mounted and squared the Leupold VX III 6.5-20X40 Long Range scope, broke in the 26" barrel and developed a custom load. The gun is zeroed at 200 yards and will shoot 3/8" groups. It comes with all of my reloading data, Kestrel inputs, and a Sinclair Bore Guide. There is a custom locking turret on the scope from Leupolds Custom Shop.
This rifle is very clean with an excellent bore, there are some light handling scratches in the stock and the bolt knob shows blueing wear. I am selling this rifle because after many years of wanting a 6.5 Creedmoor, I finally have one.
