Description:
This is my personal Ruger Old Army, I bought to shoot with my son. It is sighted in at 20 yards and will shoot into 2", with 29 grains of Goex 3f with an Ox Yoke Wonder Wad and a Speer ball. This is a very clean gun with no rust or pitting and a bright bore. It has factory faux Ivory grips on it that the previous owner bedded to the frame on one side, I am not sure why. But it did no harm to the frame, and is easy to remove. The factory wood grips are in the gray Ruger plastic box, as is the factory nipple wrench and manual. We are selling this gun as my son likes the smaller Colt 1851 Navy better and we no longer shoot it. There are 366 ea. Speer round balls and 400 ea. Ox Yoke Wonder Wads that go with the gun.
Ruger stopped manufacturing the Old Army in 2008.
