Description: Pre-War Belgium Guild Hammer 12 Gauge made in 1932 with 27" Nitro Steel extractor Sk1/F barrels with a raised file cut solid rib and brass front bead. Chambers are 2 3/4" Bores are excellent measuring .723 on the right and .721 on the left. Choked .002 right and .033 left. Original barrel blue remains at 98% Trigger guard and tang blue at 70%. Case colored action body with double underlugs, Greener crossbolt, and side clips. It remains tight and on face with centered toplever. Hammers are rebounding. Double triggers. Reciever exhibits 40% coverage of scroll engraving with deep relief Acanthus Leaf on the fences. Original case colors remain at 75% All screws are unmolested. Nicely figured straight grip buttstock and forend are both solid and without repairs. Anson forend release. Checkering and stock finish remain at 90% with mild bumps and bruises from limited field use. LOP is 14 1/4" over a steel serrated buttplate with widow's peak. DAC- 1 3/4" DAH- 2 3/4" Neutral cast. Weighs in at 6lb 5oz This is a 1932 time capsule in very nice condition and ready for its next 90 years of service. It is all original and in excellent mechanical condition.
