Description:
This High Standard H-D Military is a semi-automatic pistol that is chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The model H-D Military was approximately made in the year 1946. It is said that the "H" in "H-D" stands for hammer due to the exposed hammer on this model which typically was an internal hammer in most Hi Standard models. It was also reported that during WWII, the US military had acquired Model Bs and H-Ds, to use for training, which is why Hi-Standard later added the word "Military" to the model name. This particular one is in overall fair condition with the exception of some loss of bluing towards the end of the barrel which can be seen in the photos above. .22 Long Rifle
