Description:
This Mauser rifle was most likely once a Spanish model 1893, chambered in 7X57 mm Mauser. It has been heavily sporterized with the following changes done to it: barrel is cut down and recrowned to 22 inches, receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope, stock is cut and sanded down with varnish applied with an attempt to make it look like a monte carlo, bolt handle bent to accommodate the scope, and a cheek rest applied to assist with eye relief on the optic. The bore is in very good condition with rifling plainly visible. The rifle was most likely reblued at some point and this has held up decently. 7X57mm Mauser
