Description:
I removed the vintage scope mount on this 1953 Winchester model 70 in 375 H&H. It deserves a current mount and scope. The often missing rear sight is intact, usually selling for a couple hundred or more if you can find one. No extra holes or alterations. It does show hunting wear from the over 70 years since it left the Winchester factory but with a well cared for excellent bore.
Who knows who much big game fell to it. I used one similar in my 5 years in Alaska and one shot kills on bull moose was the norm.
