M1 Garand Collectors take note - Serial number (5213315) indicates the receiver was made for IHC by Harrington and Richardson as an assist to help complete their DOD contract. Estimated quantity produced by H&R for IHC is 4,000 receivers and the actual figure is thought to be 3,757. These H&R produced receivers are thought to be the last receivers used in IHC production.
