J. Purdey Thumb Lever Hammer Double 12 Ga, with 30" Cylinder & Cylinder choked bores with Birmingham Nitro proofs. Matching numbers found on Locks, receiver Bbl and forearm. Vivid Damascus steel scenes on Bbl. Highly figured oil-finished straight stock with smooth steel butt plate. 14 1/4" LOP 1 3/8" DAC 2 3/4" DAH 6 Lbs 12 oz. Minimal all thickness .023. Condition. Extremely fine as having brilliant bright original bores. Excellent Damascus steel scene. Receiver remains bright with engraving being soft from use. Stocks are excellent with sharp checking and most all finish. Trigger guard and butt plate have most all of their reapplied contemporary blue finish with markings and engraving being soft. Mechanically excellent. A very old repair to stock is visible from the interior only.
