Winchester pre-64 Model 70 Super Grade .300 H&H Magnum. Made in 1953, serial 247082 (matching bolt) has a 26-inch barrel (integral ramp front sight with hood and brass-beaded blade, adjustable rear sight). Features include a Timney trigger, sling loops and a fresh recoil pad (Winchester logo). DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.75 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 90 percent owing to a Scotch distribution of micro-freckles on the barrel. Markings are tack sharp. Wood is approximately 90 percent as well with some finish rubs on the ebony and a scattering of minor impressions. The price is firm and layaway is available.
