Winchester 1894 takedown .30 WCF. Made in 1904 and supported by an included factory letter, serial 217469 has a 20-inch heavy barrel (.725 muzzle diameter, half magazine, rocker bead-to-aperture front sight assembly, double folding leaf rear sight assembly). Features include a blued receiver, tang aperture sight and color case lever. STOCK: The “Fancy" walnut has strong figure, pistol grip with cap and a crescent butt plate. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 14.0 inches. CONDITION: The bore has strong rifling with light browning and trace frosting. The lever operates and locks properly. Hammer and trigger are positive and crisp. Bluing is at least 50 percent and lever colors are approximately 30 percent. Rear sight leafs are somewhat loose and do not properly hold position. Wood is approximately 70 percent with impressions, a chip at receiver right and a hairline at tang left (will have professionally stabilized and blended upon request). The price is firm and layaway is available. $5,500 plus shipping.
