Description:
20 inch carbine configuration chambered in 38-55 caliber. Fair bore with defined rifling. Sights include a pinned blade front and replaced carbine ladder rear. Traces of faded original finish present in the protected areas of the barrel with the balance displaying a silvery brown color. Receiver is a silvery/gray patina. Crisp action. Stocks have dings and wear throughout. Small split present at the left side of wrist and underneath on the forend tip. Carbine style butt. A hard to find Antique Model 1894 SRC in 38-55 caliber with that "OLD WEST" appeal. Manufactured in 1895.
