Description:
Williamson Derringer. It is believed that less than 10,000 of these small single-shot pistols were manufactured by Moore's Patent Firearms Company and the National Firearms Company of Brooklyn, NY. But this was no ordinary derringer as it had the capability to change ignition system. An auxiliary percussion chamber insert allowed the use of either fixed metallic cartridges or loose powder and ball with a percussion cap. Manufacture Dates: 1866-1870. This a nicer condition one, engraved back strap and trigger guard, works as it should, clean, minty rifled bore. Includes the percussion insert. Stock and checkering is also in overall excellent condition. Sold as is. See the pics for more intel on the condition and appearance. $35 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC. If you choose to pay with a personal check, we will hold the item for up to 10 days to make sure that it clears. Please expedite such pymts as we will hold an item on your word for 5 days.
