All Great Lakes AR-15 pistols are chambered in .223 Wylde and feature a 7.5\" barrel in your choice of a beautiful 416r stainless steel or an ultra-smooth 4150 black nitride finish. The .223 Wylde chambers both.223 Remington and 5.56 Nato with equal efficiency and the 1:8\" twist rate is ideal for keeping most bullet weights accurate. The heavy barrel incorporates M4 feed ramps, a .750 gas block, and a pistol-length gas system. They are threaded standard to 1/2 x 28, and are fitted with a ported compensator. Each barrel is surrounded by a 7.25\" 7075 aluminum M-Lok handguard allowing you to attach the accessories your mission requires. The heart of the rifle is a matching 7075 T6 aluminum upper and lower receiver set with all mil-spec parts completing the build. Great Lakes Firearms are highly recognizable due to their vibrant colors and beautiful finish. They take tremendous pride in the fact that they are an in-house certified cerakote applicator.
