"Serial number 50055. Made in 1879. 45 LC caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. This is a very fine gun. Approximately 75% of the period nickel finish. This gun could have been sold on the civilian market based on the nickel finish and fire blue on the screws. The grips have been refinished and no cartouches are visible. This gun has the “US" marking on the frame and is inspected by Henry Nettleton who is one of the most desirable of the inspectors. This is a very fine gun that appears to have been sold on the Civilian market and is in excellent condition!
