"Serial number 106884. Made in 1863. 44 caliber with an 8" barrel. This is a martial Colt 1860 army issued during right in the middle of the civil war. This is an above average Colt 1860 Army. The metal has mostly an even brown patina. The cylinder has most of the cylinder scene. The grips have a coat of varnish added. The bottom pof the grips are crudely marked with the initials “ERP" on one side of the grips and “U.S.A./ 12th Mich" on the other. We have attempted to locate a soldier, but were unable to locate one with these initials in the 12th Michigan which is not uncommon. Very Neat Civil War issued Colt 1860 Army!
