Description:
"Serial number 100. Made circa 1855. 41 Rocket Ball caliber with an 8" barrel. This is a reasonably sharp gun with a smooth brown patina on the barrel, The bronze frame is very good with minimal handling wear. The grips are very good with approximately 40% of the original varnish. This gun is exceptionally rare as the placement of the barrel address is on the left hand side of the barrel instead of on the top barrel flat. It has been said only the first 100 or so of these guns were marked as such and this is serial number 100. Very good early gun with a seldom encountered variation!
