Description:
Serial #552665, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1950-made revolver that has retained 90-92% of the original blue finish, with silvering at the muzzle and on the exposed edges, as well as a light turn-ring on the cylinder. The hammer also has some thin freckling along the sides of the spur. The revolver is fitted with mottled brown Colt checkered plastic grips which have very little evident wear or flattening of the points. The lock-up is tight and the action flawlessly. The revolver is housed in a brown leather belt holster with Anderson Sporting Goods stamp on the back. The leather is in fine shape with only a few minor scuffs and no crazing or cracking. This is a fine ‘50s Detective Special and would make a nice defensive handgun for home or concealed carry. FFL or C&R;
