Description:
Handy little VHE 16ga built on a "0" Frame with original26" Vulcan Steel barrels. Gun built with splinter forend, double triggers, capped pistol grip buttstock and auto ejectors. Pad is a 60 year old hardening replacement. Gun came to me from the grandson of the original owner and a period LOM case is included with the gun.
Overall the gun remains in very good field used condition. Barrels with about 75% original blue. Frame with hints of original case color remaining. Stocks are sound with scattered light handling marks and an old stock head repair. Bores are mostly bright with a minor dent or two which should remedy easily. Mechanics are fine. Case is fair.
This is the best value in a "0" frame gun I've seen offered at $2395. It is not a project gun or a fixer upper but a true hunting gun which was used and enjoyed by a family in the Blue Ridge Mountains for more than 70 seasons!
