Description:
I have for sale a lovely little Browning BSS 20 gauge Sporter. These little guns are built solid and are made to shoot and last a lifetime and beyond. This gun came from the factory set up for the uplands witrh 26 inch barrels with a solid rib and with improved cylinder and modified chokes. The stock is straight English style with neutral cast and dimensions of 1 1/2 X 2 1/2 X 14 1/4 over the installed solid black rubber pad. Cast is neutral so botrh right and left hand shooters can shoot this gun in the field. The forend is a very trim beavertail which is great especially when shooting some clays to prevent the barrels from burning your hand. The wood finish is oil and I have cleaned and waxed it which briings up a little shine for the pictures and helps preserve the wood. Gun has been shot very little as you can see by the condition of the breech face and the position of the top lever well right of center. Weight of the gun is 6 pounds 12 ounces making it a joy to carry in the wood or fields. These guns were produced with both selective and non-selective trigger. This gun has the more desireable selective trigger. I would rate the gun at easily 98% condition with only a couple of very small light marks. Price of the gun is $2500 plus $50 shipping to your FFL. As always there is a three day non-firing inspection period with the buyer paying shipping charges if returned. This will make the new owner a super upland gun which can be passed down for generations to come.
