This is for a RARE “B. Romainville” Signed Factory Engraved and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Trombone 75th Anniversary Slide Action .22S/L/LR Rifle with Box.
Manufactured to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Trombone Rifle design. Featuring beaded blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights. The French gray receiver features floral scroll engraving on both sides with a bust of John Moses Browning on the left and "75" within a wreath both inlaid in gold. The stock collar is engraved "1919-1994" and just ahead of the trigger guard is "10/75". Engraved “B. Romainville” on the bottom front right side of the receiver. Mounted with a straight grain, multi-point checkered walnut stock and 15 ring forend. Includes original box. Serial #166CSHT010 dates it to 1994. ONLY 75 of these produced and this is #10!
This rifle is LNIB and in overall excellent condition retaining 99% plus original blue and French gray finishes with limited handling marks and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine with some storage and handling marks.
