About Us: I'm a life-time shooter who is selling off a portion of his collection because of age.

Description:
This is a brand-new, UNFIRED Browning Diana-Grade, Superposed, 12 ga shotgun, set up for skeet. My claim of new and unfired is not hyperbole. It is literal and I cannot find another like it in my search. It was made in Belgium in 1970. Here's the story:

I bought this gun in 2012 after I received a call from my gunshop. They had received an estate collection that had once belonged to a doctor. The doctor believed that the US dollar was losing value and might become worthless or worth (much) less. And so, he invested in high-end firearms and simply put them into storage, indefinitely. He was particularly fond of Brownings.

I bought this gun and, of course, paid a premium for it's condition. I have never seen another unfired Diana-Grade shotgun from this period.
All of the features of the Diana-Grade Superposed are here so I won't repeat them. If you have questions, please message me.

Of particular note....Both barrels are marked “**$” which identifies them as skeet barrels, a type of improved-cylinder. The engraving is of game-birds in a forest setting. The engraving covers the entire receiver and all other parts. The stock is of the highest Browning quality. The fit is superb... it looks like the stock was poured into the metal parts. It's that tight. The engraving is signed by the artist, “Ch. Servais” which is expected on engraved Belgium Brownings. The signature is visible on the photos of the left side of the receiver near the bottom.  Serial number is 21***S70.

The photos were taken when I first received the gun. If anyone needs additional photos please let me know. I'll be happy to provide them. I now have a macro-lens that will provide magnified detail if necessary.
If fired, the gun should obviously be well cleaned and oiled. It's been sitting for almost 55 years. In fact, you can still see traces of the original factory cosmoline. I have never assembled the shotgun.
The shotgun comes in the original Browning luggage case.,... leatherette. It too is new although it has been wiped clean of dust. The brass closures show a bit of tarnish and a tiny mark or two from storage. I have seen used luggage cases going for $500.00 or more.

I am certain that other similar guns are probably offered in excellent condition. These are prized firearms. However, I paid a premium for an unfired example and believe that it was worth it.

Shipping and insurance will be at my cost. I am thinking, perhaps, FedEx, 2nd day because of some recent unpleasant experiences with UPS. The gun and case are heavy, almost 17 pounds. Insurance will be extra.
