Winchester Model 94AE Deluxe rifle in caliber 30 WCF aka 30-30 with 20" round barrel, full mag, shogun butt with correct U. S. Repeating Arms/Winchester red rubber plate, plain trigger, fancy/checkered walnut stocks, open sights, blued finish, serial # 5437236, made 1987. This is a very scarce variation of the Model 94, having been manufactured for only 2 years in 1987 and 1988. Also, it is the only Winchester in any model and/or variation to ever be marked with "Deluxe" anywhere on the firearm.
This carbine is as new, having never been fired - absolutely no wear to the loading gate or bolt face. 100% factory blue. Action works smoothly and functions correctly, including the rebounding safety. Bore is shiny and bright, a 10 of 10. Original sights include dovetailed front with gold bead and stylish/eye-catching full buckhorn rear with thumb print elevator. Stocks still tight and proud, with the old factory style "F" checkering pattern, which was used on a few of the Model 94 Commemoratives also. Butt pad has a couple of spots from sitting in a safe or closet. For the starter or advanced collector, you wont' find one of this type in this condition often. Unfortunately the original box and paperwork have been separated from the carbine and are not included.
