This is a very nice all-original World War II German K98 K rifle, in overall very good condition. Metal retains 80%-85% original finish, has original Waffen marks on the barrel, receiver, buttplate and stock. Bolt and all bolt parts are original and matching number to the receiver as is the bolt stop, front sight has original shroud, rear sight is 100-2000 meter gradients and numbered to the gun, barrel bands numbered to the gun, trigger guard and floor plate are milled and numbered to the gun. Buttplate is milled and waffen marked, number does not match the gun. Barrel shows light pitting but strong rifling (often referred to as a “frosted” bore), has original cleaning rod. Serial number of gun is 1924C. Cal. 8mm Mauser.
Stock is in very good condition with no visible cracks and retains original Waffen marking on buttstock. Has two small shallow holes at the right side of the tang and underside by the grip as shown, stock is very very solid
