Description:
Serial #32948, .45 Colt, 5 1/2" barrel with a lightly pitted bore that has strong rifling. This is an 1893-made revolver that has traces of the original blue remaining on a few protected areas, with the balance turned to a mottled plum-brown and pewter gray patina. Spots of mild surface freckling are present scattered throughout the metal, and there are small impact marks on the underside of the barrel and sides of the frame around the head of the cylinder pin, and pin release. Some further marks are present on the exterior of the cylinder. The checkered hard rubber grips are intact and have only some light wear at the butt on either side. The grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior, and the loading gate assembly number (107) matches the frame number under the left panel. The action is fully functional in both single and double-action, and the revolver rates about very good overall. Antique
