The case has a fine interior including the contoured partitions and original burgundy lining which is fading in areas. The outer wood shell is fine throughout with a very good grain and color to it. The lid on the box closes tightly and the box shows no warping. This Is A Very Fine Looking Example Of An Early Civil War Factory Contoured Case For A Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With A 4 Inch Barrel!
