Description:
Very fine Model 1892 rifle features 24 inch octagon barrel chambered in 25-20 WCF caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Original sights include a blade front and buckhorn sporting rear. Most all of the original blue remains on the barrel and full length magazine tube. Crisp clear markings. Receiver also has most blue with some thinning spots that are turning a brown/gray color. Crisp action. Straight grain walnut stocks are in excellent condition. Crescent buttplate. This is an outstanding Winchester rifle from 1915.
