Description:
This is a very interesting French Lebel 1886/93/16 Brass Handle Bayonet with matching Scabbard. This bayonet, serial #B77571 is correct with a 15mm MRD but instead of a 520mm blade it is shortened to 400mm not 343mm, same as the experimental Berthier Mousqueton blade. The over-all condition is very good with normal wear and excellent cruciform blade in heavy grease. The matching serial # scabbard is also in very good condition with typical scrapes and is 422mm long.
