Description:
Browning Midas Grade 12 gauge O/U shotgun.  Configured as a “Field Style” so the dimensions are more field like, and the gun has a rounded field style forend and no middle bead. 28” vent rib barrels with Skeet chokes that were opened-up by Browning from IC/M (which was very common).  Made in 1969 if has a “flat knob” pistol grip and a short tang.

The nicely figured Midas grade wood has a 14 ¼” LOP over the butt plate with 1 7/16” DAC and 1 7/8” DAH with neutral to very slight RH cast.

The very fine Midas receiver was engraved by Browning engraver L. Severin.  The gold inlayed birds are especially well done!

Overall condition is 98% since "salt" restoration with the only deductions being the ever-present wear mark on the bottom of the barrel from the forearm, a very small spot of surface pitting just ahead of the forearm and a couple of very light “dings” in the buttstock wood finish.

This Midas was made in 1969 during the “salt” era and it was treated as such.  See photos of stock off of the gun.

Weighs 7 lbs. 7 oz.
