Description:
Extremely nice custom muzzle loading pistol with both a flint lock and a percussion lock. Made by C. R. Stevens with his name engraved on the top flat of the barrel. It has a finely checkered maple stock, rifled .40 cal. barrel, engraved brass furniture, with a ram rod that is held in place by threading inside the stock. The cased pistol includes hand made tools, hammer, cap box, screw driver, brush, short starter, full barrel length ram rod, cleaning tools and brass powder flask. Nice wooden case is fitted for each piece. Truly a custom made muzzle loader with the percussion lock hand crafted to fit into the flint lock torch hole by only removing and replacing the lock. Case has a name plate engraved with Gary Bramstedt and backstrap of the pistol has GB engraved into it. A beautiful functional work of art. Asking $2,000.00 shipped.
