WINCHESTER MODEL 55 Take-down made in 1925 with serial number 1565 in .30 WCF caliber (.30-30), 24" barrel with excellent rifling and moderate frosting, shoots really good, (targets at 50 and 75 yards) very accurate, smooth action, original butt plate, open adjustable sights. This rifle is one of only 20,580 made between June of 1924 and December of 1932. This rifle looks great... pristine walnut stock, glossy bluing, slight wear at the muzzle. Is the overall finish factory original?? I am not sure but probably not. A really nice, early Model 55. The price is $1600 including UPS shipping to the FFL dealer near you.
