Description:
A beautiful 4 bore by Lincoln Jeffries! Comes to me from one of the best big bore collections assembled on this side of the pond! This gun made with 41-3/8" damascus barrel, horn capped wedge fastened forend which is nicely checkered. The large frame receiver is very nicely case hardened and has some older laquer on it. The frame is nicely border engraved and has a good amount of original color remaining. Jones Rotary opener is nice and tight! The pistol grip walnut buttstock is sound with beautiful original finish remaining and the period Silver's type pad is crystallizing. For condition, this gun is about as nice as these early 4 bore guns can be found.
This gun remains in beautiful condition. Barrels with great pattern remaining and bore is quite nice. Frame with a good amount of original case color and crisp engraving. The stocks are sound and very good all the way around. Gun locks up tight.
