Description:
Browning BSS 12 Gauge with desirable 30" barrels, Made in Japan, 1980. The Browning BSS is known for durability and consistent shooting for years of service. Perfect "Sporting Clay's Special" upgraded model with Briley Thin Wall Choke Tubes installed, May of 2022 and Kick-EZZ Sporting Pad. This gun is in excellent condition and would rate 95-97% overall. The gun shows light to medium use with just light safe storage and range marks. The gloss blue is really nice with just a few light handling marks, freckle spots and one small spot on the bottom of the receiver. The wood overall all has very nice grain & figure. The forearm and stock are almost perfect and would rate 97-98% condition. The gun has 2.75 “ & 3” chamber, long grip tang, upgrade Barrel Selector, gold single trigger, auto-ejectors, auto-safety, metal front bead, matching choke tube wrench, beaver-tail forearm, gloss finish wood and stock is standard 14 1/4" LOP to professionally installed soft 3/4" Kick-EZZ Sporting clay pad. The Briley Thin Wall chokes currently run about $900-1,000.00 for installation and target grade 5-Spectrum Extended choke tubes. Included are 5-Chokes, SK, IC, MOD, LTMOD, and IMMod with the gun. The gun comes in a very nice original 1970's Browning hard case to fit either SxS or Over/Under models with 30" barrels. Great side x side for either clay's or hunting with the Briley choke system.
