This Model 1886 is the lever-action that gives heavy-caliber performance in a carbine that works like no other. Solid, reliable and balanced, this version is a gun-of-a-lifetime. It is superbly crafted in every way. The 45-70 caliber is a true classic. This Model 1886 carbine features my lightly applied worn finish on the blued receiver, 22” round bbl., blade front sight , adj. open rear sight, 7 rd. full magazine barrel and lever, along with a matching blued steel barrel band and steel crescent buttplate. The American walnut stock & forearm has had the original high gloss finish remove and replace with the old oil finish of the 1880s. This 1886 allows quick shouldering. Unlike the other historical Winchester rifle models, production was limited. In fact it is 1 of 2000.
