This rifle was manufactured ca. 1995, and has an "HRA" marked, 1961-dated barrel. The op-rod is "H R" stamped, while the bolt is by Winchester ("66118-EE"). The trigger group is stamped "7267030-0," with "SA" marked hammer. The metal retains nearly all of the original parkerized finish, with traces of mild silvering along some of the projecting edges and bearing surfaces. The rifle has a GI walnut stock with DoD eagle cartouche and open selector switch cut-out. The fiberglass handguard is in excellent condition. The wood is in excellent condition, with only a few very minor handling marks and small blemishes marring the otherwise excellent military oil finish. The rifle comes with both an original, "KMT Co." marked GI magazine by Kileen Machine & Tool Co., and a green canvas, ROK Marine Corps marked sling. This is a splendid example of a mid-’90s production M1A rifle, and would make a splendid addition to any collection. FFL SOLD |
