Rare first year Remington Model 878 Automaster Semi-Auto Shotgun. 12GA. Serial number 21918L. Barrel date code is "CF" indicating manufacture in April 1959. First year production gun, approximately 62,000 were manufactured from 1959-1962. 28" Full Choke Barrel with excellent tight choke(See photo with choke gauge). 2 3/4" Chamber. 14 1/8" length of pull to original Remington butt plate. Original non-checkered Walnut stock and matching Forend. Beautiful overall condition with a very high percentage of original bright and shiny blue(See photos). Outstanding original stock finish with some fiddle-back burl grain in the butt. Rare collection quality Remington shotgun. Copy of FFL or C&R license required prior to shipping.
