This is an antique as Forehand & Wadsworth closed up in 1896.This model and the double action .32 and .41,s ,I believe were on the market sometimes in the 1870.s.Making them along with the Webley British Bull Dog very early with a successful pocket double action ! I believe this one is a .32 rimfire and did not know they made in rimfire and centerfire calibers.Mechanical works well with a slight looseness in lockup. Left grip is fine and the repaired right grip is not bad.Bore has its rifling and light pitting.The side plate and cylinder has been changed on this one.On right side plate area the nane SCHMITZ is engraved.I sell antique guns for collecting and display.If intending to use,one must have a gunsmith check for safety and proper load.
