Ted Hatfield Full-Stock Percussion Kentucky Style Long Rifle
Back in the late 1970s, Ted Hatfield began building a pretty good reproduction Kentucky-style rifle in St. Joseph, Missouri and this is one of those. This Hatfield .50 caliber percussion full-stock rifle with strongly tiger striped stock, buckhorn sights, and double set triggers. The locks and triggers are made by L & R Lock Company. The barrel and the lock have Hatfield stamped on them. The overall length is 55 inches with a 14 inch pull and 3+-inch drop at the heel. This is a rifled octagonal.50 calibers with a 1:70 twist. The 39 inch barrel is browned. Very good plus. The bore is very good, and the action is crisp
