Sold !!! Colt SAA in 38-40. 7 1/2 barrel. Appears barrel and cylinder have been replaced with period replacements
Action is strong locks up tight. Bore very good Shoots well.
hard to read serial numbers. 238xxx. Might should letter it. Left grip is very good. Right has a couple pieces missing. Still solid enough to shoot.
She's been rode hard and put up wet a few times. But will still last another 100 years or so.
Would make a good candidate for engraving or just shoot it as is.
it certainly didn't sit in a desk drawer and could tell a few stories.
