Solingen. This example is in excellent original condition with very good makers marks "SMF", "ROSTFREI" with a nice edged blade. This examples wooden scales are in very good condition with normal wear and dimples. The spike is excellent and has the original point and marked with the stick eagle 5. According to Pattarpzzi's book, "Lufttwaffe Gravity Knife", it is uncommon to find the locking lever and the sub assembly with matching production numbers. This knife has matching #14 on both these parts. As seems to be uncommon on these knives, the blade is secured with the lever locked. The lock needs to be released to open and is locked and solid when deployed. SOLD |
