Looking for a classic piece of American firearms history? If you're looking for an exceptional addition to your Harrington & Richardson revolver collection, then this Very Rare Antique nice collectable H&R 1st variation .32 S&W Manual - Ejecting Double action top break revolver , might just be what you're looking for.   This is H&R’s  first version of the top break revolver that was manufactured.   It has a manual- ejection of cartridges by a push rod below the barrel with twin guide rods for the extractor. SN: 2110.   These were made for black powder cartridges.

1885-1887

Specifications:     ANTIQUE  nice collectable Harrington & Richardson 1st variation large frame revolver.   .32 S&W     6 shot .   16 ounces.  Free wheeling cylinder without automatic cylinder stop.  Flat recoil shield.  Nickel finish.   Nickel trigger guard attached with thru pin in the front and rear. Blade front sight.   Round extractor rod that requires two guide rods between the extractor star and the cylinder to keep alignment correct.  Cylinder removal involves removing the extractor star from the extractor rod then removing the threaded bushing screwed onto the extractor rod.

Condition:  3 ¼”  Raised rib round barrel with a lightly frosted bore , very minor spot pitting from black powder use and still showing very nice rifling.   The metal surfaces of this pistol rate about very good, retaining about 90% of the original nickel finish and showing scattered light scratches on the right side of the receiver and some minor finish loss on the left side of the receiver. and the usual handling marks for It’s age.   The original black hard rubber grips with intricate floral design remain in near excellent condition showing just some minor handling marks.     All serialized parts for the gun are matching. All barrel markings are clear and legible. Barrel to frame fit is very good with good timing and lock-up.  Mechanically seems to function very well in single and double action.

Despite its age, this revolver is in very good condition.  It's a true collector's item that's also functional with minor wear and tear consistent with age.   This revolver is a very good example of these rather low production early H&R double action revolver.   Whether you're a firearms collector, a history buff, or just looking for a unique piece to add to your gun collection, this H&R  revolver is sure to impress.today to make it yours!
