32213- PRE-WW2 WINCHESTER MODEL 70 CUSTOM SUPER GRADE .30-06 CAL. RIFLE W/LYMAN ALASKAN SCOPE. 24” barrel. Specifically listed by the exact serial number “45405” in Roger Rule’s book “THE RIFLEMAN’S RIFLE” on page 50 as having been shipped January 6, 1941 and is the first Model 70 listed for that year. Original Standard Model 70 upgraded to a custom super grade with the addition of an ebony forend cap, pistol grip cap and a recoil pad. Griffin and Howe side mount with Alaskan 2 ½ X scope with cross hairs reticle. Lyman 48 receiver sight base. Excellent condition with nearly all the original factory blue and all the original factory stock finish with light field use. Excellent bore and perfect working order. Scope optics in excellent condition. Scope caps and leather sling.
