We are located in Antrim, New Hampshire Description: Stevens Ideal No. 414 Armory Model Falling Block Rifle in .22 Long Rifle This Stevens Ideal #414 Armory Model falling block rifle is in .22 Long Rifle and had a 26” round barrel Standard smooth walnut buttstock and long forend It also features a grooved black hard rubber buttplate Condition:  This rifle is in excellent shape The bore is bright shiny and in excellent shape. The barrel retains about 97% original blue with spots of light oxidation and some light handling marks near the muzzle. The barrel band, trigger, hammer, and breechblock retain about 40% original blue strongest on the breechblock with the balance toning to a gray patina with spots of light oxidation. The frame and lever retain about 80% original case-hardening which is drifting to gray on the high edges and contact points with fine speckles of light oxidation. The smooth walnut buttstock rates near excellent with a few light handing marks. The forend rates closer to very good with an unfortunate 3/4” dent on the left side (pictured). The rifle is sighted with a Lyman globe front with lollipop insert and an unmarked period receiver sight with small aperture. The action function well mechanically.
