Remington Model 550-1 - Semi - Auto - .22 Rifle - Smooth walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with butt plate. 24 In. long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a front bead sight. Tubular magazine will accept 20 Short , 17 Long and 15 LR ammo. Receiver grooved for scope. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Bore is clean and bright . Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent . Internal parts appear as new . Rifle has had very little use. Tested with both Short and LR ammo cycles perfectly. Known for it's accuracy and reliabilty. Manufactured from 1941 to 1970. This one was manufactured in 1951. These are great shooters.
