Description:
Pre Model 28 N frame 5 screw satin blue 6" Smith. Barrel marked Highway Patrolman. S prefix ser # Manufactured approx 1955/6. Walnut Diamond grips.
This Smith is in very good condition, some slight blue wear at the muzzle, a very light bit of freckling does not take away from the guns overall great condition.. Grips are very nice.. There is one issue with this revolver. It was dropped at sometime in its life and there was some minor danage to the yoke. The yoke has been replaced but the replacement yoke is high polish blue and not the satin blue on the rest of the gun. The original Yoke is still with the gun and as you can see in the photos, Maybe not back in the fifties but today it could probably be repaired and re-installed. Overall for an almost 70 year old it is in very good condition. Almost all of its original blue remaining and again some very light freckling. Bore is very good. A nice addition to any Smith collection, or just a great shooter. FFL/C&R required. Shipping $30.00 lower 48. Credit cards please add 3%
